Mon Oncle

Some of the hilariously pretentious design I’ve spied coming out of Milan this past week reminded me of perhaps my favourite film of all time, Jacques Tati’s Mon Oncle  – a delightfully playful farce on the development of late 50s modernism and technology, and the way it changed the physical and emotional landscape of Paris. If you have not seen it – rectify immediately. HF.
