I have a nostalgic yen for Loewe, having spent a whole lot of time gazing in their windows when based in central Spain some years ago. I like their distinctive Castilian style and seeming disinterest in being as bling as other major luxury houses. Their new range Oro is seriously beautiful: based on the colours of Madrid late in the day, the products are all golden stone with flashes of brights. The campaign goes one step further, placing a charming bunch of quasi-model hipster folk amongst the city streets and sites. Sigh. HF.
