Extremadura house

Extremadura House by Abaton Architects. Extremadura, a province of Spain, is one wild and woolly place. We once drove through it over a few days: unpopulated plains and fields of chestnut-snuffling black pigs within ancient dry stone walls. This house reflects that tough clarity so well. I love the stone, cement, limed wood and terracotta all together. HF.
