Jonathan Saunders and Charlotte Perriand

More architectural fashion inspiration! This time it’s Jonathan Saunders Pre-Fall 2012. Inspired by modernist interior architect Charlotte Perriand (1903 – 1999), above, known for her ‘machine age’ aesthetic and close collaboration with Le Corbusier, Saunders presented beautiful 50s and 60s silhouettes in lush, geo textures, reminiscent of bamboo and flocked wallpaper.

“The most important thing to realise is that what drives the modern movement is a spirit of enquiry, it’s a process of analysis and not a style.” Charlotte Perriand.
