Grevillea parallela

I walk past four different varieties of grevillea every day. It is undoubtedly one of my favourite foliages, and I’m partial to the toothbrush blossoms too (especially the white ones – Grevillea parallela). The leaves are both jagged and soft and often the prettiest green/grey colour. I always snip some off (from a healthy, in-need-of-pruning specimen of course) and arrange with other walk finds, or daisies or dahlias from the corner shop. So I was pretty chuffed to see that Emily Thompson also has a crush on this Proteaceae – see amazing tulip orange bouquet, second from top… HF.
