Paradise on paper

I stumbled across Svenskt Tenn whilst looking at yet another beautiful house on Design Sponge.

Svenskt Tenn is an interiors firm and boutique in Stockholm, known for their production and use of vibrant, organic prints, and founded by businesswoman Estrid Ericsson and the designer Josef Frank.

I am in love with their wallpapers, particularly Paradise. Though it’s busy, there is such a great rhythm in its design that I think it would be ideal to live with.

They also offer wonderful accessories and furniture.

I love a brand that stakes its identity with colour and pattern. As a fashion-buyer friend told me recently, “neutrals and black are money in the bank; it’s a big risk to produce items of colour.” Please take the risk, people! Or our lives will be forever beige.
